Update #2 – Nearing the end..

So, I haven’t updated the blog as I initially had planned, and for that, I apologize. We have been extremely hard at work putting the finishing touches on ShirtDesk and building out the next scope for Phase 2&3. While we can’t release any information on those phases yet, just know it is a game changer for the apparel space, specifically Online Stores & other screen printers.

Our goal with ShirtDesk was always to make POD a scalable solution for brands and companies. This means quality, turnaround time, and great pricing. We believe we have already taken steps in the right direction for quality by being the first POD platform to utilize Direct To Film. This in turn also allows for a much quicker turnaround time and a better cost per unit. If you don’t know about Direct To Film, I highly suggest digging into it. DTF alone is going to transform the apparel space in a huge way.

On to ShirtDesk updates. To start – here are some figures from the past year and a half.

We have been developing this platform with great momentum up until this point. The app is ready to deploy after a few minor CSS/bugs are worked out and our partnership w/ Stahls UltraColor® MAX has been finalized. While we have our own DTF Machines and the capability to produce + ship entirely in-house, partnering with Stahls will allow us to increase our capacity significantly and allow us to focus on the app. It is still one of our primary focuses to control all production in-house. We just need to find the right way to accomplish that. User feedback will be a massive part in making ShirtDesk successful and my inbox is always open to suggestions/things we can do better.

It is our goal to have beta access out before the end of the year. We will launch w/ Shopify as our only integration to start. We will be taking suggestions for other integrations. Our apparel distribution vendor will be SSActivewear at launch with all other distributors to follow in the coming months. We are so excited to have you guys be a part of this journey. This is only the beginning.
